Ended up with some of the problems/errors others have been notating here, hongfire, and a few other places. Found the easiest solution was to follow the install instructions with two minor adjustments. I HAD to be in Japanese mode (Applocale wouldn’t work correctly) and the append files (kami_ap01, 02 and _200) needed to be copied into the game directory, then ran, in order to work. After that the English Patch was able to find the game instantly.
This worked for me so hopefully if anyone else is running into issues it may assist them in getting this game to work.

I keep getting a wrong OS Version Error when I try to install the game in general what is wrong with it?

I apologize if I am missing something but i cannot find any application to install the game with. All the additional texts and files are there but I do not know how to install the game.

extract the files, mount the iso, install the game

sorry but i cant find the iso either. all i can see after i extract is kamidori.mdf and kamidory.mds and the misc links. no iso image etc to mount

you mount the mds file. it’s like the cue in a bin/cue

Please, answer me. This is that kind of game that you have periods to do stuff(like daibanchou and sengoku rance)? Man, I hate those kind of games.

yeah there are some side quests that have a day limit are not really meant to be completed on the first run through.
there are more important quests you can do before a chapter is over but they always warn you when you are about to go to the next chapter. You should still try this game. it’s pretty good

I followed the install notes
but whenever i run the english patcher it ends after searching my entire x86x programs directorty and says it didnt find the folder
first time a game has been so uncooperative

Can’t really help you out since the install notes is exactly how i installed it and it worked perfectly
are you the type that has lots of toolbars and mysterious random popups all the time?

Anybody else having a problem?
When I run with japanese locale as administrator, the patch gives me this error:
Invalid start mode: Missing _IRAFN command line switch
I’ve worked every game I’ve downloaded from this site just fine by following all the helpful instructions they put up. There isn’t anything for this one though.

Everything ran perfectly for me and i did it just like it says in the installation notes. Force a hash check on the torrent to make sure you have 100% of the files. You can also test the rar file the patch was in for errors
